Thinking of Names

Elle is in deep thought here, one day last month at the Zoo's aquarium.

We've been in deep thought, too, over BABY NAMES. We have a few we like, but are having a hard time choosing, narrowing. And then we keep discovering new ones and adding them to the list.

We tried asking Elle what she wants to call the new baby, and she has two reponses:

"Baby Sister"

"Stacianna" (her best friend at school.)

Not much help.

How about you, any ideas? Post away!

*Kylie Ann Yarborough
*Lola
*Shields (for all the O'Shields)
*Carlie
*Ann Lyles Yarborough (1st name for your Mom, other for Thelma. Call her Ann or Lyles, or both, a double-first name. Then she'll be a true southern girl! The girls would have the same middle name. That could be cool.)

...Mama bought a "Name" book for you at the grocery store. Did she give it to you yet? She got wrapped up in reading the "meaning" of names and had to buy it.

Oh, you might not know what name to pick for now, but what fun choosing!!!

Love,
Auntie Jeanne :)

I bequeath ELIZA to you, since it is not looking like I will be using it. Unless I put a bonnet on Henry during our tea parties.

We need belly shots! Missed you all in Maine last week.

Marie!! We need names, too! I love the idea of Ann(e?) with your mom's memory in mind. It also has a nice balance with Elle.

It's also a family name for us. I'm sure I've told you the story about how my mom (Nancy Anne) was actually christening "Anne Anne" because at the last moment the priest noticed that he was about to call a baby something THAT WASN'T A SAINT'S NAME!!! So she is, in the all seeing eyes of God at least, Anne Anne Veronica Burgie Phillips.

Anne also it goes well with Yarborough. And when she is small she can be Annie.

Anne Therese Yarborough? Now I am getting confused.

And only a picture of your tummy will set me on track again!
